Savor You Last Days of Summer this Labor Day Weekend
The days are already getting shorter, and summer is slipping away. Take this Labor Day Weekend to enjoy your last few days of summer before it’s time to turn on the heat and bundle up! Here are a few ideas:
1. Sleep outdoors: Set up a tent in your backyard, and enjoy the outdoors! Light a campfire, toast some marshmallows, and tell campfire stories with your loved ones.
2. Run under a sprinkler: During the heat of the afternoon throw on your bathing suit, turn on a sprinkler and have a great time while your lawn enjoys a refreshing drink! (Be sure to check local regulations for watering lawns if you live in a drought-prone area)
3. Go for a bike ride: A family bike ride is the perfect Labor Day activity! Get up early in the morning so you can enjoy the cool morning temperatures and head out for a ride on a local bike trail.
4. Eat your meals outdoors: It’s too nice to be stuck inside! Eat dinner out on your deck every night this weekend and enjoy some fresh air!
5. Stay up late for some star gazing: Lay a blanket out in your backyard and stargaze with your family! Have a contest to see who can name the most constellations.
